Got a question?

You’re not the first — and probably won’t be the last! We’ve put together some of the most common questions we get about our bush camp and farmstay to help you plan your visit. If there’s something you’d like to know that’s not covered here, just reach out — we’re always happy to help.

We’re one of the few true bush camps located right in town! You’ll enjoy the beauty of the bush, surrounded by wildlife and nature — but still be just 2 minutes from the Bruce Highway, the local pub, IGA, and a great swimming hole. It’s the perfect mix of country charm and convenience.

We’re located within the friendly town of Howard, Fraser Coast QLD — an easy 2-minute drive off the Bruce Highway. Detailed directions will be provided when you book, and most GPS systems will bring you straight to our gate.

We have a mix of selfcontained unpowered and powered bush campsites, and a growing number of farmstay-style spaces for those who like a few more comforts like a toilet and camp kitchen. Each site is surrounded by nature and designed to give you plenty of space and privacy.

Absolutely! We built this place with families in mind. There’s a fairy garden and play area for kids, friendly farm animals to feed, and plenty of safe open space to explore. Kids can experience a bit of bush magic while parents can relax and unwind.

Yes — we love a good campfire! We provide designated fire pits or a communal firepit depending on the site (season and fire restrictions permitting). You’re welcome to bring your own firewood, collect from the ground or purchase some from us on arrival.

Kangaroos, wallabies, kookaburras, lorikeets, and all sorts of native birds and critters call this place home. You might even spot a goanna or two wandering by!

We’re keeping it simple and close to nature, but comfortable. We offer a shower, clean toilet, camp kitchen, and fresh water. Our goal is to give you the authentic bush experience without roughing it too much!

Yes, well-behaved pets are welcome on some sites — as long as they’re kept on a lead and supervised at all times. We just ask that you respect the local wildlife and our farm animals.

One of the best parts of our location is that we’re only 2 minutes from the IGA, the local pub, and bottle-o. So if you forget the marshmallows or need a few extras, it’s an easy trip down the road.

Sure is! There’s a lovely local swimming hole just 2 minutes away, perfect for a dip on a hot day or a lazy afternoon with the kids.

That’s nature for you! Most of our campsites are well-drained, and we’ll do our best to help you find a comfortable spot if the weather changes. We recommend bringing a tarp or shade shelter just in case.
